The School of Communication, Information Technology and Signals (SCITS) is a premier military training institution under the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF), established to build capacity in the fields of defense communications, cybersecurity, IT systems, and signals intelligence.
Located in Uganda, SCITS plays a strategic role in enhancing the UPDF’s operational effectiveness through specialized training that integrates military discipline with modern technology. The school equips personnel with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to support and protect Uganda’s defense communication infrastructure.
Our graduates serve with distinction across UPDF units, government ministries, regional security forces, and peacekeeping missions, contributing significantly to Uganda’s and East Africa’s security architecture.
